Who will conquer the ring?
Round 2 of the 2025 Logitech G V8PRO Series takes us to Austria for a completely different kind of challenge. Sebring was rough and wild. This one’s clean, fast, and surgical.
Red Bull Ring is short, just 4.3 km, but don’t let that fool you. Long straights into tight corners make for endless passing chances—but also big risks. Turn 1 and Turn 3 are divebomb central. Drivers will need to be aggressive, but smart.
This is the first true test of race craft and straight-line speed in the new Gen 3 cars. How do they launch? How do they brake deep into tight corners? We're about to find out.
Red Bull Ring
Track
The race circuit was founded as Österreichring (translation: Austrian Circuit) and hosted the Austrian Grand Prix for 18 consecutive years, from 1970 to 1987. It was later shortened, rebuilt and renamed the A1-Ring (A Eins-Ring), and it hosted the Austrian Grand Prix again from 1997 to 2003.
When Formula One outgrew the circuit, a plan was drawn up to extend the layout. Parts of the circuit, including the pits and main grandstand, were demolished, but construction work was stopped and the circuit remained unusable for several years before it was purchased by Red Bull's Dietrich Mateschitz, rebuilt and reopened on 15 May 2011.
